Frequently asked questions

What customers ask most often before sending a turbocharger or diesel engine to the shop.

Which engines and turbochargers do you work on?+

We work on diesel turbochargers and engines across the major heavy-duty platforms found on Canadian roads and job sites, including Volvo, Cummins, PACCAR, Detroit Diesel and Mack. Send us the engine and part details and we will confirm whether the unit is something we can service.

How do I find out which turbocharger fits my truck?+

Send the VIN, engine serial number or the numbers stamped on the existing unit along with your contact details. We will confirm the correct fitment before anything is quoted or ordered.

Do you repair units, or only replace them?+

Both paths are on the table. After inspection we explain whether repairing or rebuilding the existing unit makes sense, or whether replacement is the better value, and you decide before work goes ahead.

Do you work with fleets and repair shops?+

Yes. We handle work for owner-operators, fleets and other repair shops. If you are managing several units, call the shop so we can plan the work around your schedule.

What information should I have ready when I call?+

The vehicle or equipment make and model, the engine, the symptoms you have noticed, and any part numbers you can read off the component. That is usually enough for a first conversation.

What does it cost, and how long does it take?+

Cost and timing depend on the unit and the condition it arrives in, so we quote after inspection rather than guessing up front. Call or send the details and we will tell you where you stand.

Can I visit the shop in Mississauga?+

Yes — we are at 1135 Meyerside Dr, Mississauga. Please call before you come in so we can make sure someone is available to look at your unit.

Still need an answer?
